‘Entrepreneurship- A boost to Skill Development’
The 3rd International Knowledge Conclave scheduled on 6th & 7th January 2017 was organised with the theme ‘Entrepreneurship- A boost to Skill Development’ by SPDT Skill Development Centre a unit of Shri Rajasthani Seva Snagh , J. B. Nagar, Andheri (E), Mumbai – 400059. It is more than 50 years old educational Trust educating more than 7000 students from KG to PhD through its various institutes.

In this two days Conclave 15 Grassroots level Entrepreneurs shared their experience & journey which inspired the 150 delegates to plunge into the arena of entrepreneurship. Having heard the success stories the delegates wanted to know from where & how to start. The workshop addressed all the queries through different sessions like Govt. schemes for Startups, about Bank loans, the nuances of writing project report, how to form company, how to manage crisis, required mind skills, Business relationship, use of technology, opportunities in International trade & defense.

The Conclave inspired the delegates to become job providers rather than job seekers. Dignitaries who attended were Prof. Varsha Bhosale, Dr. Rupa Shah, CMDR. Dipak Naik, Smt. Megha Phansalkar, Shri Uttam Rawal etc. The eminent speakers were Mr. Sarang Kamtekar, Mr. B. R. Venkatesh, Mr. Aditya Sekhar, Mr. Venakateshwaran, Mr. Amit Rao, Major Jadhav & others.

The keynote address was given by Shri. Sriram Athri wherein he emphasized the need of mind skills to become a successful entrepreneur.

Dr. Vinod Tibrewala, Chancellor JJT emphasized the need of skill development & how to develop entrepreneurs in making new India. He related his own story of how he accepted various challenges to become the no. 1 dishend maker in India.
